Developed by STEYR ARMS the STEYR GL 40 is a robust steel 40mm low and medium velocity grenade launcher. Due to it’s design and various mounting options it can be used as an under barrel launcher for the STEYR AUG or various other assault rifle.

The STEYR GL 40 is also available as a stand alone grenade launcher with an ergonomic adjustable stock.

It is available either with a Steyr designed quick attach mount or a mount for picatinny rail (Mil. Std. 1913). Thanks to the safe and easy sideloading breech configuration all types of 40 mm grenades can be used. This provides superior combat capabilities.
