The Steyr Arms USA team is seeking an organized and friendly Receptionist to support our company’s office operations at our Bessemer, AL facility.


  • Welcomes visitors by greeting them both in person and on the phone in a positive, friendly manner
  • Maintains security by following procedures; monitoring logbook
  • Directs calls to other members of the customer service or sales team as necessary
  • Maintains safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed, including data entry and filing


  • High school diploma/GED
  • Phone and In-Person Customer Relation Skills
  • Strong Verbal and Written Communication
  • Microsoft Office Skills
  • Professionalism and Organization
  • Able to Handle Pressure and Solve Problems
  • Office Supply Management
  • Firearms knowledge preferred, but not required
